What do I know about this?
What do I know about Google Earth and Voicethread?
I know a lot about Google earth like to use it and how to put a pinpoint on a certain place. I also know a lot about voicethread like how to make a presentation and how to put it on Google earth.
Have I presented material about Google Earth and Voicethread before?
I haven’t presented material about Google earth or voicethread before, so at times it was challenging because I didn’t know how to use it.
Do I understand what I have to do? Is there anything I don’t understand about this activity? I understood most of the time what I had to do and when I didn’t I went and looked at the tutorials.

What skills and knowledge will I be using?
I will be using the google earth and voicethread tutorials to help me.
Identify

What is the task?
What do I want to accomplish in creating a poster? How do I want to interest others in my topic? Do I want to present an informative poster that can be used as a reference? Do I want to present a warning poster that alerts people to danger? Or some combination of those goals?
I want to show others about different parts of new Zealand and to show that i am informed about the topic and to make other people informed about this topic.

What do I need in order to do this? What materials do I have? What resources do I need? Should I do more research on Google Earth and Voicethread?
The materials that i have to use is my laptop and the tutorials. I also need to research about google earth and voicethread by reading the tutorials.
Who will be looking at this work? How can I appeal to other students?
Teachers and other students will be looking at this work. I can appeal to them by making my project interesting.
Are there examples of Google Earth and Voicethread posters or materials that I can look at?
I can look for examples on the internet and look through examples in the tutorials.

What are the obstacles? What problems may happen?
The obstacles that could slow me down are my laptop not working, and not being able to use voicethread and google earth properly.
Can I draw a diagram that will help me to visualise my work? Draw some rough ideas for posters.
Generate

How many ideas can I think of?
List as many ideas as possible.
What aspects of Google Earth and Voicethread interest me? What would I want to see on a poster?
On a poster i would want to see information and cool pictures as well as google earth.
Consider the advantages and disadvantages of each idea.
Are there any other subjects to consider?
No i have to do the subject i was given.
What resources (books, websites, etc.) have I been provided with?
What do other people think about this? Do others think I have a good idea? I have been provided with the internet and tutorials made by teachers.
Decide

Which is the best idea?
Which are the best ideas? Prioritise the 3-5 best ideas.
Explain your reasons for choosing these. What are the arguments for and against each idea?

Which idea is the best one for completing the task? Which idea is best for accomplishing my goal?

What is my plan? What are the steps to follow?
How will I keep track of my progress? What are my milestones?
Possible list of steps:
· Research and gather material about my subject.
· Revise material and compose text for poster.
· Create graphics.
· Take pictures. Edit pictures.
· Assemble text and images into poster.
· Review poster and modify as needed.

Am I making progress through the plan? I am making a lot of progress throughout the project and it is going well.

I am doing the project correctly and as i was told to do. I have reviewed my plan alot for the project.
Do I need to revise my plan? As you continue, you may discover facts that require changing the plan. I have revised my plan a lot and had to change a few things along the way.
Am I satisfied with the text/graphics/pictures that I have created?
I am satisfied with all the pictures that i have used on all the videos.

Is the text as interesting or informative as intended?
Are the graphics and images appealing?
I have completed the original task that was set. I have tried to make it as interesting as possible.

What have I done?
What have I done really well? Is there anything that stands out as particularly good?
I have done my presentation really well and i think that the pictures stand out particularly.
Is there anything that needs improvement? Should I go back and redo anything?
I don’t think that i need to go back and redo anything on google earth or voicethread.
Am I ready to communicate my ideas or show/display my work to others? Is the poster ready to be shown to others? My presentation is ready to be shown to others

My audience from this project is teachers and other students.
What is the best way to present this to my audience? I think that the best way to present this to my audience is to show them.
How do I interest other students in my particular subject?
I can show them my project.
Did I include the right text/graphics/images to inform and appeal to other students? Yes i put everything that i was supposed to.

If I had to start this activity all over again, how would I improve my performance? Would I change my work habits? Would I use a different subject or different design? Would I only make small changes?
I would only make small changes like working faster

I think i have improved a lot using time management
